    Equipables for Vehicles and Mounts

    I do not know much more about this game than is said on the website, but i know the following: there are vehicles and mounts (which is awesome). This gave me an idea: equipables for these vehicles and mounts. These equipables would be usually be weapons such as turrets. Some of the equipables could be things like storage space and speed increase as well. The equipables would be different with the different vehicles or mounts, for example you might have a saddle as a speed increase for a horse-like mount but a jet as one for a hover bike. Please note that because of my ill-knowledge of the game I can only say what these things would do, not how they will be accumulated. If someone knows a site where there is more information about this game, please link it to me.

    Equipables
    Ranged Weapons:
    Basic turret:
    This, like most turrets, will be fired using a key on your keyboard (possibly space, unless you can jump on mounts, or click). It will fire a light, semi-automatic shots, at an average distance.
    Auto turrets:
    These will automatically fire at your enemies with light, automatic, shots.
    Heavy cannon:
    This will be a turret which does heavy, non-auto shots. It will have a large aoe and high damage, but a slow speed. It will be fired with space.
    Minigun:
    This will be a turret that shoots extremely light, automatic shots with a very low damage but an insane speed with some spread. A bit like a crystal storm of terraria as a gun. It will be fired with space.
    Melee Weapons:
    The following weapons automatically do their effect, and not wait until the key is pressed
    Ram:
    This rams into enemies, causing fair damage and huge knock-back.
    Spikes:
    This skewers people doing quite a bit of damage and very weak knock-back
    Crusher:
    This does tons of damage and no knock-back
    The following weapons would need the attack key pressed to use them
    Blade arms:
    These come out when the attack button is on. They make a swinging motion, like someone wielding a sword.
    Saddle:
    This will be equipped on tame mounts to ride them.
    Racing saddle:
    This will have the same use as the saddle, but it will also allow extra speed.
    Backpack saddle:
    This will have the same use as a saddle, but will allow for extra storage.
    Jet:
    This will be equipped onto a vehicle to increase speed, and allow boost for limited time.

    Seems pretty cool, actually. Though the 'keyboard to shoot' idea could be tiring after a while. Other than that, these ideas are pretty cool.

    What about melee addons? Such as, putting things on the front of your vehicle to ram instead? It would probably do a little more damage compared to guns and such, but you'd have to get up close and personal with enemies.

    *Not advised on explosive(?) enemies.

    This is a pretty good concept. This could lead the way to entirely customizable vehicles where you pick a vehicle type (bike, hoverboard, car, etc.) and make it one of a kind. Adding whatever weapons, shields, tires/rockets, and whatever else you want on it.

    This woul be great. There could also be some kind of material you collect. Then upgrade the vehicle's armor with that material. It could add visual armor plates to the vehicle or just add armor points.

    There could be some kind of ramming weapon that gives the vehicle/mount some sort of dashing/ramming attack. But at the end of the dash, there could be a sort of slowdown or cool off time so that the dash can't be abused. That's my idea.

    Hey, we could add A lance too, basicly its like a Ram but for light vehicles, (You can't expect to add A heavy turret to a deer!)Although it is not meant to throw enemies away it has a slightly longer range and could skewer an enemy, keeping it in place(Non-boss type or large enemies please. Or players or that may end up OP) As for Vehicles maybe we can also Add Arc weapons, given the fact that the area won't be flat, it may be a problem with those turrets.

    Balista: A Large cross bow weapon to hit hiding enemies. "Just cause its ancient dosen't mean it's not powerful!"

    Mortar: Fires A non-area damaging explosive, sadly it has a slower fire rate than the Balista. "If you can't Aim, Blow it up!"

    Can we get a self-destruct button, incase the vehicle gets stuck?
    Comes with an ejector seat. :3

    This is very useful for Vehicle Customization and for Mobility/Combat Effectiveness in Different Planets.

    Tracks:

    Pros:
    • Reduce knockback
    • More grip
    • Can hold more weight
    • Braking speed
    • Durable
    Cons:
    • Slow
    • Probably expensive
    Neutral:
    • Heavier (Could be good for low-gravity worlds)
    Wheels:

    Pros:
    • Average knockback
    • Suspension
    • Acceleration
    Cons:
    • Less grip
    • Weak
    Neutral
    • Braking speed
    • Durability
    Jets/Hover
    Pros:
    • Fast
    • Can go over water?
    • Looks pretty cool
    • Avoids landmines and such?
    Cons:
    • Expensive
    • Low handling
    • Low braking
    • Fragile
    • Terrible knockback
    Neutral:
    • Could probably get some serious airtime.*
    'Legs' - Pointed Tips
    Pros:
    • Handling
    • Decent speed
    • Braking
    • Good on inclines
    • Not affected by gravity unless you jump. (Sticks to hilltops instead of flying over, etc)
    • Reduced knockback
    Cons:
    • Probably expensive
    • Complex to make
    • Fragile
    • Not very stable
    • Would pierce ice, and glass.
    Neutral:
    ...Can't really think of any.
    So yeah, feel free to edit this and add points.
    *This is not advised for space exploration.
