Try waiting with someone else who's at you stop. And have your phone out in case you need to call 911.

Don't worry, I'll be okay. I'm more worried about my brother though, especially considering I never saw the man by myself more than once, while he did several times already.

Just tell him to have his phone out until he gets on the bus. Hopefully the guy is just weird and not a real stalker. And you should probably find out if he's from your neighborhood. That may help somehow.

'Pretty seriously', as in, my mother watches over him until he gets to the main street, where it's actually safe.

Nothing like this has happened to me YET. Plenty of other weird stuff has happened, but not some guy standing in the middle of the road.

Life's full of bizarre things, and no one gets to see all of them...

And that's probably a good thing.
