Right now, Multiplayer is still being worked on. However, if you want to try it, there is a mod for multiplayer here: http://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/501/? Keep in mind that it's a mod, it's not perfect, and may not be exactly how the Official multiplayer will be.
