I want to make a mod to make the creatures on the Ruin planet capturable (mostly because the Tentacle Clam is just darling and I love it very dearly), but I'm not sure how to go about doing so. I'd love some tips to get me moving in the right direction. Sorry if this is a dumb question- I figure it'd be important to note that I've never made a Starbound mod before, haha. This is a very self indulgent project I want to take on here.
There's a parameter "capturable" in their monstertype files. There's a guide on making patch files here: http://community.playstarbound.com/threads/basic-patching-now-with-path-guide-v1-9.84496/ Just patch that parameter for each of the monster types, and you'll be good to go.
