Can't find save file on game?

This is my sister's game, so I only know vaguely the details, but basically at some point the game was saving but her computer randomly shut down, and when she got back on her save file was missing in the menu. She already tried looking into appdata for her savefile, and it was there, just not on the menu of the game. Any idea how to fix this?

 

The game always saves the previous day's save in the same folder with the addition of the suffix '_old' appended to it. If the primary save has been corrupted, you can re-name the two '_old' files by deleting that portion of the save name and try to load that backup. You will lose the last day you played, because it will go back to the /previous/ day, but if it works then at least you won't lose all progress entirely. Note that there are two files that make up a saved game, the farmer's name file (with a string of numbers in the file name after the farmer's name) and a file named SaveGameInfo with a matching date and time stamp. Both of these need to be there or the save will not load. Good luck!
