Bug/Issue Help! My game crashes when I try to create a world!

I just baught stardew valley a couple of hours ago, i made my character and i watched the intro but when its about to save and let me play the game it crashes and says: stardew valley stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. I have tried again and again and tried redownloading it but it did not work. I would apriciate any kind of help, i would love to play this amazing game.
