can someone tell me how to make a hostile turret that works and targets the player and crew but not tenants, villagers or monsters it will really help with making custom maps and dungeons, if you find out how to do it please upload it so I can copy it. thanks in advanced for any reply's
By editing the turret's lua script's targetting function. Note that this one will still *hit* tenants and villagers if there's a player in front of them that jumps to dodge the bullet or something, but it won't *target* them You should probably edit the racial descriptions for more fitting lines (the object's name is "antiplayerstandingturret")

It depends on what you mean by "something cooler"; you can edit it to add a "projectileParameters" object to change it's damage etc. much like you'd find on a ranged weapon, but if you want to spawn different kind of projectiles it'd need a slight change in the script.
