Bug/Issue Lost my axe when I didn't make it home in time

    I didn't make it home in time before 2am. I've had it happen before but never lost anything important. I lost my axe! I've been playing for over 40 hours, I've started over once before and I don't want to start over again. Is there any way to get my axe back? Will it appear in a few days? I am playing on the PC version.

      I lost my axe as well and am wondering the same thing. On other forum and steam info I keep reading that the mayor is supposed to bring it to you the next morning but that didn't happen for me... Anyone know whats happening?

        Check your fridge, and your chests. He is supposed to mail you a spare, but sometimes it doesn't arrive, but can instead be found in those locations. No clue why, but, they do spawn there
