Matter Manipulator VS Energy Pickaxe

    Hey guys!

    So, I found an Energy Pickaxe and according to Google it's "extremely rare" drop. What it doesn't say is how good it is compared to the Matter Manipulator that you have in terms of digging, so I was just wondering which I should pick?

    PS. Haven't played the game for even two weeks which is why I'm asking newbie questions :)

    If your MM has the best power upgrade, it matches power with the energy pickaxe, however, the pick strikes slower, has a shorter range, and is limited to a 3x3 area where the MM can be upgraded and has quite a long range, hits quite fast, and can have up to 5x5. The pick is definitely good but it's outclassed by a well upgraded MM.
