World bugged by protector

I've been creating a server, and a friend placed down a human generator. We finished building for the day, and logged off. The next afternoon, I come on to keep building. I started clearing land for a room, but I notice I can't break anything or place anything in a certain area.

I decide to go down, and turn it off. I come back and go to the same area. The issue still isn't solve

Some areas of the world is protected, and others aren't.

 

Try destroying the generator entirely. And also check that the protected areas aren't naturally protected ones, like the ancient gateways or Hylotl cities.
