Add Mods

If the devs added modding they'd pretty much have no more content updating to do, which would allow them to focus on other games/real life stuff.

Also could make the Item/Enemy/Character suggestion threads a goldmine for mods.

 

Sadly, Risk of Rain is made in Game Maker Studio and the devs have said adding modding support would be incredibly difficult because of how GMS works. There are people making a C++ or something port of RoR that has modding support as well as optimizations; the thread(s) is(are) somewhere on this forum. That port has not been released and it may be a while before it is, you can keep up with its progress though.
