You should to it like many/most of us, just use a barn for it ... may result in you having additional space for at least a small forest

 

GeDoSaTo requires too much setup steps for a lazy person like me (and I heard it's not working so well with newer versions?) so here's my current farm all Frankensteined together, hence the multiple MCs

Yes, I cage my cat because he's annoying and gets in my way most of the time.

 

Very lovely setup (I especially love the trees around the slime hutch). Also, I've noticed the purple iridium growing machine on a few people's farms. What is it/ where can I find it? I've tried looking in the wiki but they don't seem to have it listed whatever it is.

I'm not happy with the design yet. Also the creepy mouse statue in the top left corner was gotten per inventory edit (i wanted to test some stuff) and sadly I can't get rid of it..
Everything else on this save that i cheated in got deleted.

after 3 years, you get evalueted by grandpa, if you suceed on this, and go to his shrine, he'll give you the statue of perfection ! and for orange one, you can buy it to the casino for 1million gold.... so expensive... and looks like you can buy more than one statue of endless fortune (see there : http://stardewvalleywiki.com/Statue_Of_Endless_Fortune and http://stardewvalleywiki.com/Statue_of_Perfection).

 

And my cat's name was Bronabella, because it's randomly generated name.

Where did you get the green/grassy 'paths' that you have around your fruit trees, pond, etc.? Is it a mod of some sort (I see you've modded the appearance of your house)?

 

The Statue of Perfection is awarded from Grandpa's Shrine once you've lit all four Spirit Candles.

Updated my farm a little bit from my previous design. I don't really need the money anymore so I changed up the crop area:



Would have taken another full picture but large resolutions only seem to crash my game now so this was the largest I could go.

*Edit: Figured out the issue with GeDoSaTo and inserted the full image. Seems if I loaded the game up and it wasn't already in fullscreen mode, it would always crash from any change.

 

Harvesting all the crops and animals must take you all day! You must chug down coffee nonstop haha.

 

Well, tbh, I'll probably never harvest them. It's a game where you set your own goals and mine was always predominately to finish my farm. Now that it's finished, I don't feel any drive to play. I'm quite satisfied, I feel I've completed it. All the money is in the greenhouse anyway, the rest is just aesthetics really. Though, if I were to, I'd imagine it would vary between finishing at 12pm and 2pm if I started with the cows and then went anti-clockwise around. I wouldn't mind getting an autumn screeny though. The trees were kind of done with the colours of autumn in mind.

Btw, my park around the south pond took influence from your grassy stepping stone area. I hope you don't mind. I wanted a park but couldn't figure out how to do it until I saw your farm. I really like your farm, you have a lot of original ideas, aesthetically. I like that you make using trees important and that you don't do everything in squares.

Of course I don't mind! That's the great thing about this topic. It's a good source for getting new ideas you might not have thought of without seeing first. I've seen plenty of things I'd like to implement or wish I would have implemented earlier.

 

Just seen your updated picture. By far the prettiest, most original farm so far, and the most practical - for the man who knows all his money is in the greenhouse and can't be arsed to pick crops for the sake of it.
