    Whenever I place the Base the game kicks me to the menu, "Incoming client packet has caused exception" What did I do wrong?

    And when I place the base while inventory is open it crashes the entire game.

    Are you trying to use the mod on a server or in multiplayer? That will crash your game. If you are using singleplayer, can you post the contents of your starbound.log file? You can find it in the storage folder.

    Hmm, yeah, it looks like it's not finding a key Lua script even though the path looks correct. Like @DragonZombie said, try redownloading the mod and see if that helps.

    I reinstalled the mod, and unzipped it to the mods folder, now whenever I place the Spawner Base, the block breaks instantly.

    Do you have a backwall behind the spawner base? If you don't have one then it won't be able to spawn the panel that goes with it and it will just break itself. If that's not the problem, go ahead and post your starbound.log again and we'll take another look at it.

    Hi, gave your mod a run through and liked it. I used this mod with the Job Offers Mod and had a blast with my crew mates.

    Have couple questions:
    1. Is it possible to name or rename the npc.
    2. Is it possible in a update of this to make a preview of the npc that is being spawned.

    You can recruit these npcs with the Job Offers mod? Wow. This keeps getting better. :)

    So, they keep the hats you give them when they become crewmembers?

    1. It's not possible to rename the npcs yet. I'll look into that though!
    2. When I get time to do the major customization overhaul that I want to do, this will be a part of that in some form.

    Also, I'm curious: can you still change the NPCs clothes/appearance after you recruit them with the job offers mod?

    With job offers yes they keep their hat and have a crew member suit.


    But about CAF i dont know if its planned like that but even when we ask them to wait , the follow you again after some time or if you pass near them.
    Only costume (if you have taillor) , but not the hat or weap , Only before giving the paper.

    Also give a weapon to a non guard then recruiting him make him switch hands non stop but not sure about that.

    Edit : but finally with Job Offers added next to your mod , we can take crew with us on planet.

    Since your mod and the others fit very well together you may need to contact the autor of the others mod maybe for some feature ?

    I recruited some npcs with the job offers mod and they were duplicated. I don't know if this is the reason, but I could recover the hat I gave them.

    That's odd... even if the npc was duplicated the items you assigned them should always be in the spawner.
