Craftable Seeds 1.8

Make it possible to create all your seeds directly from plantable crops.

    This mod can be extended with the "Frackin Universe Addon" addon, which is located inside of the download archive. Keep in mind that the addon mod is not a standalone mod.
    That means the main mod is definitely required!

    Check out the Versions section below to get more information about the addon.    ​


    This mod makes it possible to create all seeds and some saplings directly from the crops and fruits. Just open the new Seed Maker, which can be crafted in the Inventors Table, and create your own seeds and saplings.

    With this mod you are able to create:
    • all seeds from vanilla crops
    • new Mushroom Seed and Thorny Plant Seed
    • new saplings from Alienfruits, Mushrooms and Coconuts
    • new Red Apple Tree Sapling

    • Craftable Seeds (main mod)
      • Has all features from the features section above.
    • Craftable Seeds [Frackin Universe Addon]
      • Adds the seeds from Frackin' Universe.
      • Adds the saplings from Frackin' Universe.

    Simply copy one of the downloaded pak file to your ..\Starbound\mods\ folder.

    The path should looks like this: ..\Steam\steamapps\common\Starbound\mods\CraftableSeeds_v1.7.pak.

    An excellent seed mod that removes the dire limitation of the number of seeds you have while still making you work to expand your farmland. Obtaining new seeds also remains a good adventure.

    Especially useful in Survival mode. I kept dying because I couldn't find more seeds! This is a nice addition that doesn't feel like cheating.
