Do you like fantastic creatures? Do monsters from myth and legend spark your interest something fierce? Have you ever scrolled through the modded races and thought to yourself, "Man, these guys are cool, but I don't really feel like committing to a whole new race each time something strikes my fancy."
Well...
I'm here to offer you the chance to take a walk on the weird side with no long-term investments! This mod is all about the choice to be, or stop being, something that isn't you for as long as you like. Creatures from popular mythology, fantasy games, and probably some other categories also I guess will all be available. Just equip the gear and you're off to the races!
Currently, the only monster costume available is the classic Harpy, veteran of many fine fantasy settings. It's fully-animated and functional, and looks quite nice if I do say so myself. As I finish more, I'll add more, but making high-quality fully custom everything is quite labor-intensive and time consuming, so please be patient.
Costumes consist of 2 pieces, leg parts and a chest part. There are no headpieces. Currently, they're craftable for 1 pixel each at the spinning wheel, though that'll probably change to something more nuanced and thematically appropriate as the mod develops.
Just load up your game (you may have to make a new character to get the recipes to appear, I'm looking into this, otherwise you can /admin spawn them in with harpywings and harpybody respectively)
Craft them from the Spinning Wheel
Equip them
Flap around like a moron
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Avoid wearing hats, as they won't line up with the sprite right.
There's only the one pose, it won't adapt to personalities. This may change in the future, but it's unlikely.
Hope you enjoy, and feel free to let me know if there's any monster in particular you'd like to see.
