With the new combat system in place, it's now more worthwhile to invest into perfecting the movement and its flow. On that mark, I'm putting more time into getting the feeling just right.
As it stands, I'm fairly satisfied with ground movement. I'm not done with it just yet, but the general feel of what I'm after is there. I'm still working on liquid and air movement, which will tie in with perfecting movement at large.
In tandem with development of this mod, I'll be working on tweaking the tech capabilities of vanilla Starbound. It will be a separate mod, at least for now, since I've not been paying attention to what Starbound mods, especially those that alter tech behaviours.
After I've gotten player/humanoid movement nailed down to what I want, I will start incorporating the changes into the movement of the various creatures that populate Starbound. Not fair to enhance the movement of the player and leave the creatures in the dust.
