2) Shield animation bugs were fixed:
- Melee combo script was modified. Two features were added: to charge the first attack in combo and to dash upon attack. These features cannot be used by two one-handed weapons at the same time. Charge is impossible if the first attack has dash.
- Shields now have an attacking ability. It replaces the tech dash while a shield with attacking ability is raised. Shield dash can only be done in the direction the character is looking at. Stricken enemy will de stunned and slowed down after the stun time expires. Cooldown after hit and miss varies.
- Now two shields cannot be raised at once.
- when cursor moves quickly from side to side.
- when the cursor position is over/below the center of the character’s hitbox.
- A special reward bag is available in Treasured Trophies. It contains a sword and a shield that use new mechanics.
This mod should be compatible with other mods which doesn’t change shield and melee combo scripts(what is logical). New mechanics doesn’t affect any item that uses modified scripts, but don't use these mechanics.
Note to modders:
This mod allows to diversify combo attacks with melee weapons, which should find a place in the mods that add new weapons. The same can be said about the new shield ability.
