WARNING! As of now the ship is not up to date, and won't be! Simply because of how ships currently work with all the upgrades. I definetly have no time to draw all the upgrades the game needs it to have! So, until the devs add some kind of shipyard, where you can switch to non starter ships, it won't work!
"Originally a ferry used to connect stars in the outer regions of galaxies where the population density is very low, this ship is specialized for long distance trips, having a rather high fuel capacity and being very fuel efficient for its size (not in the mod, just lore :I ). However, it is quite old and shoddy and takes quite a while to speed up (not in the mod either). It was about to end up on the scrap yard planet because the previous owner replaced it with a newer model, but you rescued it from its demise and modified it to your interests.
I have never done pixel art before. It's quite interesting. I tried to emulate the style of the game, but I think I went a little overboard with the details. Took me almost two weeks to draw. Not very time efficient, but I'm happy with the result.
NOTES:
I made it in such a way that you can unzip and put it into the mods folder. It's the first time I'm modding, but it "should" work
This mod replaces the starter ship of every race. If you wanna keep the regular starting ship with some, just delete their respective ship from the mod folder, and the game will use the default one again.
IT DOES NOT REPLACE THE SHIP OF ALREADY CREATED CHARACTERS!
If you want the new ship without making a new character, you have to delete the SHIPWORLD-file of your player.
But be sure to take everything with you before you delete your old ship, or everything placed inside, or put into the shiplocker will get deleted aswell!
You can remove the walls in the middle areas for some better looking ones, if you like.
