It is a so amazing ship MOD that I struggled to crossed the GFW to download it . Thank you for the MOD . And there is a little questions . The Starbound had gotten the new version. This MOD could not well adapt it. I mean if you have some rest, I dont know the respect words in English, could you update the MOD please?

This is definitely one of the best ships out there. The only issue that I have is that due to the recent update, background walls are needed to be able to place Colony Deeds (specifically for use with the Starbound Crew mod). That aside, I just love how big the ship is and how it has a room for just about everything.

Sorry for this late answer, honnestly I understand your point.
The vanilla ships are supposed to have a default design based on blocks. but I designed this one around pixelised design to specialize a bit the rooms, once I used also an unbreakable design background for every rooms, but I didnt also left possiblities to people willing to repurpose roms to design the said background with blocks. The only existing solution I found for the moement to conciliate everyone's need is to use breakable matter blocks (the white rarity version) you can place on the background, that can be turned invisible or visible with the paint tool. So you can place those invisible blocks behind consoles on walls and make appear colony npcs. I may also make different version, with those invisible blocks everywhere as default background, I just have to find how without making everything even more laggy ^^

the Mac version of the game also has a mods folder, making it compatible isn't a lot of work. Not having it is just poor craftsmanship.
Also: you made a a race folder for just two out the six races! Just lazy and shoddy.-

Sorry...but since I cant afford an apple computer (2000 $ for such a poor configuration of components, no thanks. I have no so much money to waste on product wich only good things they have to justify their outraging prices is their good promotionnal image), I have no idea on how to make compatible with the mac os version of the game, and wont probably try (I hate Apple...thats all, sorry if its sound a bit rude). I also begin in modding, this is just a little mod because in modding, especially in ship modding, once you have got the graphics, the hardest part is done.
I have for only computer an old HP pavillon i3 with a radeon 6000 for graphic card. I could barely do anything to continue the improvement of this mod (except with photoshop), and cant play starbound with pleasure, because the fps are below 15 all the time, making tests very difficult for my laptop.
About, I know its very easy to add some races (even if its seems to remain some AI problems to solves to make the mod compatible for new characters), its not lazyness, its a choice. This ship is clearly human themed, or eventually novakid, thats why I made this mod only compatible with theses tow races.
I could help people willing to play it with another race (or a custom one), but its not a default option.
This mod is also a beta version (the design is still not satisfying from my point of view), and you are free to modify it since I keep no copyright on it. I understand your review perfectly, but if some parameters changes in the future, then I will then be able to solve theses issues.

I want to point out that you could do update the ship to have more rooms with tires and put them down or up and a bit of rooms on the back with some mirrored above and below floors to reprezent the classic human ship but the room's textures and sizes could be diferent not mirrored for sure,and keep in mind that another round dome like that above the deck 4 could be added,but I am not sure if you should add a dock V or VI,probably on the back and a way to access the front turret,it will be awesome if there was a door to that big turret.

Well a very good mod, I was trying to find a large ship with a human design and all the rooms i need for my stuff. Its still a bit messy but i really find it cool.

Suggestions for the future: maybe add some "big" rooms like in Vanilla ships or like the size of the Hangar 01.

I have also discovered this possibility to get the ship with an existing character, but very recently with a problem I had to fix for the final tiers.
The admin commands work quite wells, I was just not sure if it was completly safe from crash, bugs etc...
For the larger room, in fact at a moment of the ship design process, I was like trying to find a way to make some kind of a big greenhouse inside the ship; finally, because of the general lengh already sufficient (otherwise the ship in a side scroller game would have been really ugly, like a super long torpedo) and difficult to bear for the game...at least for my old computer; I have placed theses greenhouses under the ship instead of making another big room :/
Maybe if one day its possible to get a better optimization towards lags etc...then I will be able to make real enormous interstellar ships (like thoses in star trek, at the right scale).
But for the moment, I'm quite limited by my equipment. I will rework (or simply reorganise the room placement) this mod as soon as I get a better computer, especially because I need to test the modifications very often in the game (for room aligment etc)...despite the fact its possible to mod without a fluid game to make tests. The mod improvement is paused at the moment and very messy I know, but glad you still like it ^^

Great mod!!! the ship is freaking huuuuuuuge!!!! definitely what you want if you have a ton of mods and need space for all your extra crafting tables and other stuff ( like frackin flora mod ) it takes a little while to load up, but thats because the ship is ginormoustastic! love this mod!

Best ship i have found :) only thing is when i play as avian the door's are avian style ... how can i fix this ???

That is normal, when you play a particular race, its equipement is displayed as default in the ship. If you cannot change the ship locker and the techstation to a human style, the doors can be moved and replaced (except the locked ones in the first tiers).
If you are patient its possible to make a patch to replace some values in the blockkey file. but the quickest way is actualy to spawn a human door and scan it to replicate this object on the 3D printer.
You could use the creative mod, or find the ID of the item to spawn it as admin.
...then you will be able to replace all avian door by the humans one, or simply whatever door you want.

To be honnest, I dont think I will be able to make 9 different versions of a large human ship.
Thats why I will probably make a background about a ship partly destroyed, wich escaped from the tentacle invasion that you will have to repair and unlock rooms along the tier progression. My future plans are actually to fix the design mistakes and slightly upgrade the size to add another hangar, and move from frigate to a carrier class.
I hope the devellopers will fix the lag problem in the meantime because it really difficult without a good config to play normally with large ships.
Thats also why I consider this mod as beta and I'm waiting for the final release of Starbound to make the definitive version.

Have your game crashed after a few minutes ? If you have got a crashlog?
Wich race are you using ? (I precised human and novakids only at the moment)
Could you please leave me a message in the dedicated thread, comments are not a great way to solve problems :/
I have tested the build before to upload it, checking again, still have no problem whatever the tier. Have you read the description and the importants notes I wrote ? (despite of my terrible english ^^)
The ship is quite enormous, so you always have got to wait almost a minute by the time the game is loading it...try again and wait a moment, even with a low computer config, there shouldnt be any problem with the initial black screen.

To be honnest, I havent tested it yet in multiplayer ^^
Once I would have corrected all mistakes and made a definitive build; I will try to submit the ship at some test. However, since its a really massive ship, I dont guaranty that any server would even support it...

Awesome! Reminds me the Drakensburg ship of the Borderlands the Pre-sequel, but grey.... I know your english is not that great, but I understand it without problems, there are some mistakes but I believe soon or later you will notice them. Also, better than the original Human's Space Ship, great to store items (which I have a lot of it) and etc. Good luck updating it!
