Hey folks, so I would really like to have an empty nursery, but I am not a SMAPI fan. I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to do that these days. There's an old thread (you can find that here) but unfortunately I believe it is not longer compatible with the 1.4 version of the game -- when I go to sleep it just goes dark and I have the usual ZZZ over my head, but I have to go outside for the game to save. Does anyone know if we're able to simply change the Farmhouse2 and Farmhouse2_marriage XNB files these days, or are we simply living in a world where I will need SMAPI to mod things?
XNB mods are no longer compatible for SDV post-1.4 for PC. Exactly what problems you have with SMAPI?
