Poem A New Years Haiku Extravaganza!

I am a terrible artist, so I wrote some haiku. Feedback please!

Waiting
The fireworks set forth,
A whole new year of waiting,
Pray thy for release.

Resolutions
I will try to be,
The best of all at building,
A shack of dry dirt.

Nighttime
I go to sleep late,
visions of Poptops in mind.
Please Tiy don't delay.

Very short and sweet indeed.
Like delicious cake.

I like these! Did you consider perhaps trying to make 3-5 haiku in a series for one event? I think that could be cool.

It's really hard to provide feedback for haiku when you follow the format.

 

I would try, but I'm lazy.

 

You just haven't found the proper motivation! It will come to you, if not now, then another time.

Is shack supposed to be Stack?

 

I don't think so. MahBucket wants to be the best at building a shack of dry dirt!

That takes me back to the first time I ever played Minecraft in survival mode. The sun went down, the monsters came out, and I cowered in a small hut made of dirt.

 

I made a small wooden wall...
But the creepers kept coming...

 

I tried to dig down to escape, but it was exactly what they wanted.....
