A Racial Quest That Takes Place on the Home World We Fled.

I think it would be awesome if there was an endgame quest that takes place on the home world that our character fled. It would add tremendously to our character's story. It would also add incentive to (or added reward to those who already) play all races through to the end.

    It could include things like:

Saying goodby to or visiting your family one last time (for one/some races the mission could be/include to rescue them from punishment they are receiving because you fled). Also, your family could be procedurally generated based partially on your skin tone, hair color, personality, etc. (close to yours, or combinations that look like they could have produced you/came from the same parents).

    Visit your family's graves.

Reclaim your family's bodies and lay them to rest respectfully.

Visiting and possibly recruiting old friends.

    Reconciling with old enemies.

    Paying back old debts.

Saving your home world from a horrible end it rightly deserves.

    Collecting old debts.

    Vengeance.

Evading those you owe debts to.

    Exposing conspiracies.

Taking out those you owe debts to.

    Overthrowing the government.

Eliminating all evidence of your existence.

Eliminating someone/group that put out a bounty on you.

Eating someone you liked growing up (Floran).

Each race a different story. Possibly a procedurally generated one from a pool of ideas, and taking the racial lore into account.

Possibly multiple quests that take place on different parts of your home word (e.g. hometown, capitol, hidden research facility, bad neighborhood, classy neighborhood, rival tribe's village).
Also, maybe a quest or 2 that take place on one of the other races home worlds, possibly with some implied overlap (your race X has to create a rebellion on the home planet of race Y, your race Y character has to put down a rebellion on their homeplanet started by a race X). This could be either funny coincidence, or to make it so you have to play all races to get the whole story.

The only problem with this is that Earth is destroyed so humans can't go back to their home planet unless it looks similar to an asteroid field.

Well there could be the addition of a time machine like tool which sends us back to when the Earth was still standing. Of course it wouldn't be the same as the original concept but would make travelling to Earth a lot more of a possibility.

Or earth could be an asteroid field full of mutants, survivors, and tentacle monsters[DOUBLEPOST=1442085223][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, what about the hylotl? They didn't flee for any big reason, they just are missionaries

I feel like this is very constricting as a storyline for a sandbox game, having every character of every race play out the exact same way, it feels like it should belong to some kind of campaign feature instead of side quests or part of the main storyline.
Well I just it could be one ending out of several seeming how it is a sandbox game and it would be appreciated if we had different endings for each character and such.
Well anyway, what I'm saying is that this should have way less tight grasp on the character's fate.

    Good idea however.
