Poem A SB Xmas!

  1. This probably won't be my only entry. I'm just trying out the category, so don't hate it too much. ;)
This poem was originally written in the format of multiple limericks,
but when I realised it was too long for that, I changed it to a more freestyle poem.
It still has the Rhyming sequence as a limerick (AABBA), but try not to imagine it as one.
    Here goes nothin':

    Pretty good.

  4. Thanks! :)
Don't be discouraged! You can totally top this. I didn't put too much thought into it,
so if you take your time you can make a masterpiece!

Thanks, but I don't think I can top your "masterpiece", since I already posted a poem. :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

  6. oh stop it, you!
Oh, and since you can't enter another poem, you could write a short story or a song parody instead.

This is a very interesting combination. I have never seen a limerick style applied in this fashion, and I think it is quite clever.

    Bravo!

  9. merci beaucoup, monsieur :)

Ummm.... je ne parle pas Francais?

I don't know why speaking French matters here, but as you can see above I just don't do it!

Anyway, you are quite welcome, and thank you for sharing with all of us. :D

Limericks are poems, typically witty and/or humorous. Which this is.
