Bug/Issue Access violation detected - can't launch Starbound

Before I begin, I've already posted [here] but to no avail

So an update or two ago, I started to get "[Error] Fatal Error: Access violation detected at 00007FF635390509 (Read of address 0000000000000000)." (full log is here)
No mods are installed.

The game runs fine without Steam - only, I'd like to use mods in the workshop. Is there a fix to my issue?
