Modding Help Add skin colors to an FU race

So I've come to a complete blank, can someone point me in the right direction to adding skin colors (namely the Nightar FU version) to said race. All I want is to add an actual "Skin" color to the race but I can't for the life of me figure it out, I'm pretty sure its something simple too.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

So this mod https://community.playstarbound.com/resources/merrkin-scale-colours-for-body-n-more.5901/ adds skin colours for Merr-kin

Change the meta data file to reflect your mod, change merrkin.species.patch name to nightar. Then add whatever body colour you wish.
