I really like Starbound but sometimes the lag just gets too much… I have turned off Vsync succesfully, however, when I do that I have to endure a lot of glitchy and annoying frames. Does anyone have good tips to reduce lag? It would be great if I could run the game somewhat lagless with Vsync turned on!
Download the More Threads mod, it will reduce the lag when playing (on +3 cores pc's) - https://community.playstarbound.com/resources/more-threads-lag-reducer.4927/ also activate the "Monochrome lights" option in your Starbound, it will make all lights be white and reduce some lag as well, also try the No shadows mod (The name says it all) - http://bit.ly/2mZ6gsB The fps booster mod is outdated so i will not put it here.
The more threads mod doesnt seem to do much sadly. I have a Ryzen 1800X and my FPS gain is super minimal
