Closed Ark already open in new save

Greetings.

My Steam just updated Starbound to 1.2, so I did what I usually do and start a new save to have a fresh start to this update. Everything was going great and I got the quest to meet Esther at the Ark, but when I arrived there, every NPC was already unlocked and the Ark was already open. It even warps me to the ruin.

I have beaten the game a couple times with different saves, but I deleted those. The only workshop items I have subscribed to are mods that add new music to play with the instruments, so I doubt my mods are the problem.

 

Outpost progress is saved per universe. If you complete the game with one character, it is complete for all.

Honestly this is becoming annoying seeing all the posts about this. I don't think it was thought out very well.

 

Really? Well, that stinks... I guess I should delete the universe folder then

Funny how I didn't notice in my second playthrough (This would be my third after the game came out of early access) Maybe I did delete the universe folder after the first run.
