This will probably happen at some point, if I can make it look good. (I always liked Miracle Matter from Kirby 64 better, myself )

Also, finally stopped slacking off enough to patch in a little bit of lore. Suprise; they're not terribly nice people!

Do the Beldehor have unique analysis comments/other races have things to say to them, or you still got to add that in?

 

Yet to be added. I'll probably start working on it in the next few patches alongside other text-based features; codices, AI text, etc.

 

This is perhaps eitehr from my side, or this mod, but it seems that after repairing the FTL drive on the ship, my game crashes without showing a message.
I havent tested the other races yet to see if it applies there too, but i could do that first.
Any tips i can use to test this so i can report it here faster?

EDIT: Nevermind. I found the problem. THe problem wasnt your adorable mod, but there was a mod in my mod folder tht caused the problem, an old mod i used to have. Anyways, i got it fixed. Keep up the good work on this mod!

 

When will it be ready for upbeat Giraffe?

 

It's already compatible; I've been developing it in the Nightly build since before Giraffe hit stable.

Update tonight: I've currently got reworked AI text, 4 new tops, 1 new bottom, 1 new hair; going to add crafting recipes for the clothes and try to knock out a couple more hairstyles before I launch it.

I've been busy with other projects/slacking off for a while, so it's going to be mostly simple spriting things until I get back into the groove/architecture of modding.

 

For whatever reason this particular race comes up as "Human" under the character creator. Been looking through the files for a place to change it, but they all seem to say Beldehor.
Anyone know the location to make this change?

 

I actually noticed this in testing earlier; gonna try to hunt that down now. Let me know if you find anything before I do!

It was one of the headers under charGenTextLabels in the species file.

Update: I've found the problem with the new crafting recipes: apparently recipes don't like being named something different from the item they produce. On the other hand, the game doesn't seem to mind multiple crafting recipes with the same name.

Hotfix forthcoming in a few minutes.

I would recommend Dropbox or Google drive, as both have proven useful in the past for me.

 

It took me until now to realize that "beldehor" is a play-on words of "Beholder", A monster from Dungeons & Dragons.

Also referred to as a "Gazer"

Here's what it looks like.

 

This mod looks amazing, but the MEGA download doesn't seem to work for me. Is this a common problem, or is my computer just dumb?

 

Hard to say, but you're the first person I've heard it not working for. IIRC Mega works best on Chrome, and make sure you're not in private/incognito mode. I'll probably change hosts at some point but bleeeeehhh
