Closed Boosted Jump not working? Can't jump out of water? Orcana + FU

    I just started a new game w/ FU and FR, as an Orcana race.

    I'm having an issue jumping out of water, but my primary issue is that the boosted jump tech doesn't seem to be working properly.

    I'm on a planet with normal gravity, but my character's jump height seems unboosted. It can't even clear the otherwise easily-cleared stepping tiers in a dungeon zone:

    What's this bug?

    And also, why can I not jump out of water properly? I don't remember this happening before:
