[BUG] Crashing on Teleport

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by Exon, May 8, 2013.

Game has crashed two times in a row for me when I tried to teleport.

The money gets added to my experience, my character dissapears and then the game freezes.

This is also the first time Puush failed to take a screenshot of my active window, I'm guessing it has to do with the window freezing up.

Has happened again randomly (this doesn't always happen, but if it does, it's always the first level), this time with an actual crash message:

Many bugs will be fixed in the closed beta. Don't worry about it.

And hopefully it will be out soon ;D

I know this is just a Demo but for the sake of reporting bugs I'll just keep posting stuff here and when a bug forum is made I'll ask a mod to move it there.

Now I'm getting insane FPS drops down to 10 FPS, which don't seem to recover no matter what I do. CPU and RAM usage is normal. Can't even access the menu. After I died and tried to go into the options menu this happened:

This is on Windows 8, correct?

I don't know if GameMaker supports GM8 officially. Are you signed up for the closed beta? We upgraded the GameMaker version, so it may be more stable. Your computer is definitely strong enough to run it..

I'm now playing the Beta and it hasn't crashed as of yet. Good work!

Edit: Played a few co-op games and no crashes happened, although bosses are really buggy (spawning off the map), but the main problem is that in single player, I get unbearable FPS drops down to 10-13 FPS, making the game effectively unplayable. Already tried running it in compatibility mode for Windows 7, no luck.

Also, the game doesn't seem to save for me. I unlocked the Bandit, went into the menu and the game crashed, and then I couldn't play as him when I restarted the game. :(

Also tried running as Administrator, no luck either.

              Any help is appreciated!
