For some reason rain triggers the shield block. Dunno why? Maybe it isn't a bug or it is. Devs, would you share some light upon this?

Yeah that was something I noticed... Didn't really think much of it though. I guess I just got use to that minor thing. :nuruwink:

Rain, sandstorms, hail, and poison rain are all projectiles that inflict a debuff or damage. The sky is effectively shooting at you and the shield responds to said attacks.

You will start treating this as feature when you will meet Mr. Poison Rain

Yeah, I find it aggravating that even though I have poison immunity through my gear, the acid rain still hurts me. I mean, maybe it's more concentrated, but I'd identify it more as an oversight than anything else. I'm forced to dive under the poison ocean so the surface is parallel with my screen's top, because the acid rain will still hurt me if I get too close to the surface, then when I reach land I have to run for shelter, then heal myself before running out again.

I think that immunities are vs effects not damage. That is, you are immune from getting poisoned (status effect dealing damage over time) not from being damaged by poisoned attacks.

I have moved it for you this time.

It's protecting you from the "wet"status effect that slows you down, I think this is intended.
