Closed "cacti" Object Continuous Spawn

Description: After chopping down a cactus "tree" object, the "cacti" objects that drop seem to spawn continuously every 5-10 seconds after collected, until I leave the planet surface. It has happened twice so far. They do not continue spawning if I do not collect them, but always spawn in quantities of 2.
