WIP Camping With Style (Tent Mod)

Hello space travelers.

I'm Krotalon, administrator of the Italian Starbound community. Not very active here, but I went crazy seeing all these mods and how easy it seems to create them.

So I was thinking about one simple thing: Why every single tent in the whole universe is GREEN? We don't have only green biomes to hide and camp in. So I thought about having more tent colours. And some camouflages too. Here they are:

Is there anyone out there who can put these in a mod? It would be awesome.
I can also take some colour/camouflage/pattern requests. Mine are just generic. Feel free to suggest if you want.

It isn't too hard to do, just copy the regular tent information and make new folders/files for these files.
I will take a look at it, but I think the original tent file is a single file so it may have to be separate.png files for each model.
This might make for an interesting mod.

Thiose Tents need to be introduced in the game, so we can chose and craft our favourite camo / mono colour !

 

A rainbow dome tent!! =^o^=

Actually this is something maybe the spinning wheel could be used for.

 

Here's a mod including these tents and a crafting table where you create them, has tabula rasa support.


I wouldn't mind seeing a winter camo tent

Also the winter camo was supposed to be the blue camo one. Do you mean a white and blue camo? I can do it.

Hey guys. I'm back! Sorry for this huge delay. I had things to do, people to meet and places to visit.

First of all, thanks to @Ominus for making the mod compatible with Angry Koala, I'm enjoying it very much.

Secondly, I made some other sprites, especially @blitzy 's rainbow tent request. Probably adding an overdose of rainbows.
And of course I didn't forget about the winter camo tent.

Here they are:

• Advanced Tent - Now with 35% more mosquito net!

I am currently trying to build up a proper mod by myself, so I can release things without bothering others.

Let me know what you think. I am still open to requests too.

 

I have crafting stuff for the two rainbow tents, provided the new patch doesn't mess anything up, I'll post the mod's.

The Dome one gives a little better then normal healing, and the regular one gives roughly double healing, but they require rainbow wood (1 or 3 pieces)

 

Damn, really wish this mod was put in. Craftable tents would be amazing.
