You have a lot of updates to do. Both of you need to update SMAPI to the latest version in order to use the version of Content Patcher that you have, and SVE isn't loading for you because CP won't load. Same thing with TMXL. This seems a bit backwards, but you should actually go back a version of Happy Birthday. The current one is broken pretty badly in multiplayer, but the previous version works fine. Your main issue is needing to update SMAPI, though--that should solve most of your problems.
