Bug/Issue client ship world errored

Dear Chucklefish.
Starbound is one of my favourite games and I have enjoyed it a great deal. This makes it far sadder that I have been unable to play due to a game-breaking bug for over a year or two.

I have sent many such emails to Chucklefish over the year all ending in an ominous lack or reply.

additionally, I have spent many hours on the bug section of the starboard discord where I have attempted many ideas including removing the game from my steam account and buying it again... twice. (would not mind my money back)

this appears when I attempt to get into a single-player game.
Launching the game without steam still won't work.

I have no mods.
I am on a mac.
I am on steam.
I have given Starbound permission to control my computer.
by going to the Starbound discord and using command F (Or the equivalent) you can find my posts under the name [insertnamehere].

It seems the image won't load but it was just a screen saying client ship world has errored or something like that.
