If the hairstyles decide to update to JSON as well, this should be deprecated, but until then, it's an awesome thing that someone actually did it.

 

When or if that happens i'll be sure to fix it.

 

None of these new haircuts seems to work for me.Could you tell me how to install this mod?

 

Are you running on nightly, unstable, or stable? This is only for nightly. As for installing it just unzip it and drag the Community Hairstyles folder into your starbound/mods folder just like any other mod. Got several more florian hairs I'd like to submit, but I'm too lazy to build my own mod from scratch. Can I send them to you to add to the pack?

Hi, these hairs are cool for the vanilla character, but i would like to use them with a custom race, is there a way i could use for that custom race?

 

Any news on whether this mod will be compatible with the upcoming July 22nd 1.0 update?

How would one go around adding a new species support for this mod? Would like to add some of the human hairs to stuff like kitsune and lastree tbh

 

In the species folder copy the human.species.patch file and rename the copy to kitsune.species.patch then go to humanoid folder and go to human and copy the hair folder into a new folder named kitsune. It's best to add these to the race mod itself so you won't draw errors if you uninstall that mod. If the race you want to add it to already has a species.patch file you want to open that up with notepad++ and add the hairs individually line by line.
