    So as the title says :)

    I posted a similar thread on Steam forums and someone recommended I post here, since it's more possible the devs will see it.

    I barely play on my PC anymore (baby duties!) and found a great help in the Steam Deck for casual play. I've wanted to play Starbound in it forever but never found comfortable control options.

    Now that an XboX version was announced, I'm hoping native controller support will also come to the PC version. This would also make it very easy to get the game verified for Steam Deck, and I believe this would become one of those "must have" games recommended for the Deck on gaming websites (since it also has Workshop support, which is a big plus for easy modding on the Deck).

    Any chance we can get official confirmation on this? Maybe even a date? Will there be a beta to try? Pleeeease!
