While trying to play Halfway on my MacBook OS 10.6.8 the game crashes before it even launches? Hope anyone knows how to fix this as I would really like to play this game! Thanx!..

Please try to copy'n paste the error message in here, at least the first part of it if the forum complains about sneaky URLs. Attaching it to the message might work, too.
Any portion of the crash report that I attempt to post comes up with the sneaky url message. I don't know how else to post it, I even tried saving it as a Microsoft word document, but that attachment is not allowed. I found some hints (users reporting similar crash logs for different apps) that versions of OSX 10.6 might be incompatible with the Java version we are bundling. One option is to navigate into the Halfway.app bundle, into the /Contents/MacOS/ folder, and try running the halfway-desktop.jar directly. This will force it to use the Java version which is installed on your system. Or - if that's an option to you at all - you may consider upgrading your OS X version. As I can't test this here myself without access to such a version of OSX, I'd really appreciate if one of you could give it a try. navigate into the Halfway.app/Contents/MacOS folder on Steam: right-click on Halfway, select "Properties", select "Local Files / Browse Local Files" right-click on "Halfway.app", select "Show Package Contents" navigate to "Contents/MacOS/" replace the file "Halfway" with the one in the ZIP file attached to this post you might want to backup the original file before, but you can use Steam's "Verify Integrity of Steam Cache" option to repair everything afterwards start the game through Steam if this doesn't work, try to run Halfway.app/Contents/MacOS/Halfway directly (e.g. via right-click in Finder, "open with Terminal"), and copy'n paste the console output in this thread.
