So, i'm attempting to make my own custom armor mods and I've run into a snag. I like using visual mods like Cutebound for the visual appeal, but i also want to make my armor mod usable without Cutebound. If i want to make an armor set, do i need to make two different mods? (Vanilla version and a Cutebound version?) Or is there a way to make a "patch" for my original mod so it uses my Cutebound Sprites instead of vanilla?
Both would accomplish the same thing. The patch method would be simpler (just asset overwrites) but prevent it from running standalone.
Is there a tutorial somewhere on how to do it? I know how to make a species.config.patch file, but I wouldn't know where to begin with patching a mod.
