Awesome mod. What is the colors field for?

 

It's really awesome. I have few question though.

is it need crops png file for the picture?
there's no readme file about how it works, can you also add one?
if possible, can you also put video of it?

Try looking at eemie's examples for how to set up the json and png.
I think the colors field is for color-alternates, like flowers.

is it possible to add the trees from "MoreCropsUnofficial Continuation" ?

 

Trees are not possible at the moment.

 

i don't know if i'm doing something wrong, but this just isn't working with any of the crops i have installed- none of them show up for sale in pierre's shop. is there any way you can give a step-by-step installation? (if it matters, i'm on a mac.)

 

Besides eemie's melons and pumpkins, does anyone know of any other mods compatible with this?

Some of them have been converted, the crops are here and the flowers are here. But as spacechase0 said, no trees sadly.
