How far will one go for an advantage? For some they are willing to remove parts of their bodies and replace them with mechanical augmentations. Thankfully, for those who later regret parting with their natural organs, modern technology allows for regeneration of said removed body parts; and its quite painless, well compared to getting the implants anyways. This is an expensive item too, the poor sap below had to sell all his clothing and equipment to get one. This is my pixel art so far, I'll try improving it later.
Thanks for your kind words. I appreciate it! I think it could be an interesting addition to the game. I don't really know how to integrate this with the robot race, maybe if they put it on it could be a biologic implant? Though the thought if that is somewhat grotesque, and maybe too much work to put in the game (different art for different species). I suppose robots could have optic upgrades. It really doesn't matter anyways, I have no delusions of winning this contest anyways; there are some really fantastic entries out there and in all honesty this one is not that creative. On a side note the pictures I uploaded onto flickr are thoroughly crappy looking being blurred and the color is distorted. Does anyone have a recommendation where I can upload my pixel art and have better quality?
