Hi, I am on a completionist playthrough. I am currently on third year winter. I recently failed a timed quest given by Kent (unable to provide beets after accepting quest). I do not want to restart the whole game just because of a timed quest failure. I want to ask, do the saved games remember timed quest failures? I am not asking about in game stats that I can check from the casino. I just want to know if the saved game keeps track of timed quest failures?
I haven't looked at the code so I can't tell you for sure, but I would be fairly surprised if it did keep track of timed quests. Also, note that sometimes timed quests are just impossible, most notably when they ask for a fish that only comes out in the rain but there won't be rain in the next two days.
1. It does keep track of completed timed quests because of achievements (Gofer and Big Help). 2. I just want to know whether it keeps track of failed timed quests.
Firstly, How are you defining 'failed timed quest'. 1. One you accepted from the board and then did not deliver? 2. One you failed to deliver because you did not accept it? Second. It is hard to prove a negative. However, If it tracks failed attempts it I have found nowhere that it reports it. The evaluation doesn't mention failed quests or even percentage completed. There is no tab for counting off quests completed (or failed). There is nothing on the skills page. Your spouse never brings it up. The person who requested the failed the quest never mentions it <ever>. The museum, library, community center or any other building doesn't have a place to mention it. The bulletin board doesn't contain a list. I do not believe that it does. There seems to be no reason for the game to track it. Either way you define it.
I define failed timed quests = I accept it in the journals, either I forget it or I cannot complete quest objective.
