Since people have been complaining en mass about birds being a bit too leet (to put it one way) mostly due to -heavy damage -extreme aggro distances -difficult to reach -stubborn in pursuit Etc... These would be good attributes with drones. Why not have drones that defend npc's? Some could be themed by race. Like a small dragon for glitch, a bird of prey for Avians, and a monitor with the image of big ape, and laser guided projectiles. There is nothing really stopping anyone from destroying a town, since it's easy to ninja kill npc's most of the time.
