Well now that I had placed thought into it, perhaps allowing players to visit and destroy the home planet would be strange

 

I got a question, anyone ineterested in a Retextured matter manipulator? because as im looking at the item, it looks a bit too brightly colored to fit The theme, I might either;
A) make it look old
B] make it look like it's been scavenged
C) overhaul it and make it soviet themed.

Any opinions?

 

(C) would probably be the best choice, since you already are leaning towards that russian style clothing.

and after like....two minutes of work i got these done, Sorry they are hard to see, and are small.... they are ingame sprites after all.

First up we have this LUXURIOUS Matter Manipulator, well it is just a recolored default matter, but i just got lazy ok?

and second We have a Cosmetic item that i shall recolor and probably re sprite in the future......A LOT

 

Ok, So here is a racial armor idea....its just the body and pants.

(I made the background blue to make it very visible)
not sure what tier this could be, or if it still needs work...
but i like it. i just need public opinion

Also, if you want to suggest anything that you want to see in this mod let me know, keep in mind though it is a race mod, so don't get sidetracked.

 

So I decided today I'm going to work on the starting weapon, the weapon looks like a Macrov pistol and I shall post the picture tonight.

 

I love the art concept(those ears(hair?) are so cute), but I'm not sure I like race itself. It feels a little too soviet-inspired, it would be nice if they had a bit more of their own style.

I like the soviet inspired clothes though, somehow works great with the look of the race.

 

Well thanks, I shall jump to their own style, but first I'm going to leave it how it is at the moment as a place holder, I'm probally going to incorporate crystals and scrap in the near future. In the meantime...any other suggestions?

To be honest I defaulted to soviet because I'm bad at being original sometimes.

 

Um, no more suggestions from me. Like I said, I love the "look" of the race, so I'd keep that whatever you choose.

Well time to say that I need more suggestions....because I'm still in need of assistance to make this race even interesting enough to warrant a download.

Maybe a vehicle for them? In the form of a tech? I was thinking something like this, perhaps:

I would also recommend having a personalised sigil for them, rather than using the soviet symbol, to separate them from real-life Russian soviets.

 

those ideas are great...I guess it's time to redo the matter manipulator now.

 

Great idea! Personaly, I like the odea of having a soviet-inspired race. Do it for Mother Russia!

but i feel satisfied with them.
