I'm having a go at a modded NPC ship and noticed that the vanilla NPC ships JSON files when loaded into Tiled are broken up into chunks, e.g. front middle back and then linked together. Is this just to reduce lag?
For anyone who is interested, I have surmised that the ships are set out this way to allow them to be spawned from a pool of sections.
