While looking through the game's code I found a function that translates the Dwarvish that is written on the grave and spoken by the Dwarf This lets me translate this "Unop dunyuu doo pusutn snaus" "Op hanp o toeday na doo smol" "Vhu lonozol yenn huot olait tol" to this "Stand between the desert stones" "And hold a rainbow to the sky" "The galaxy will hear your ray" While the actual translation given by the Dwarvish Translation Guide is "Stand between the pillars three" "With gift as precious as the sky:" "A rainbow forged from land, not sea" "Then galaxies will heed your cry."" Its nothing really special but Its interesting that the language can actually be translated
When you get the dwarf translation guide (after getting all 4 dwarf scrolls) the writing on the tombstone should become English and not gobbledygook.
Neat, so that's how you found out how to get that weapon that remains nameless for any people here who haven't gotten it yet. I just checked the wiki to figure it out because I was tired of trying to kill monsters with pointy sticks. But thanks for sharing, I was wondering how the tombstone tied in.
It is basically a cryptic guide on how to get the galaxy sword... (Rainbow to the sky = Prismatic Shard.)
Interesting that the translating function is part of the code. I wonder if that indicates some plans to expand content? Or perhaps it was convenient for writing & editing the Dwarf's dialog?
I went to google translate before I figured out it was in dwarvish because I’m still new to the game and am on my first year in fall but in google translate “unop dunyuu” translates to “you are dumb” in Shona
