Modding Help Edit pet preference?

Does anyone know if there's a way to edit your characters pet preference? I started a character and am far enough in that I don't want to restart but have also realized that I forgot to select cat instead of dog and now Marnie is offering a dog to me when I wanted a cat :\

I did the above ^ and it worked perfectly I didn't even touch the catperson string, it hasn't been an issue (I went from cat to dog - did the exact same thing as you in character creation lol derp)
