Resolved Energy Won't Regenerate/invulnerability

Hi. I am a long therm Starbound fan, and I love playing arround with mods. However, When I booted the game today I found this weird bug: my energy won't refill, and I cannot take any damage. I seeked help in other forums, but every "solution" to this bug was unsuccessful. I tried uninstalling the most recent mods, creating new characters, toggling admin mode and warping arround, but nothing seemed to work. I haven't installed any new mods today, and yesterday there was no bug at all. This is game-breaking, and very sad, since this became one of my favourite games. Well... Yes! However, I use the forum's version, maybe the steam one had an update I'm not aware of. I actually suspected of FR, but upon uninstalling it and creating a new character, the issue persisted. What I'm truly scared of, is the possibility of it being Frackin Universe the trouble. THAT would be bad. I might try switching to the steam version later (I had a full day, bit tired to do it now), but I really avoid using steam workshop. Also, I love the chucklefish forums, so I try to install/uninstall my mods manually, all from here! Also, before I try it, do you have any suggestions? I'll let you know as I test it.

 

Yep, no use. I've decided to test it anyways, but still no good. Nothing happened when changing to the steam version. Can you think of anything else?

YAY! Thank you for your help. I spent hours doing tests, and I found out the "troublemaker": Craftable seeds; Frackin Universe Addon. It was cool to use, but isn't going to be that bad of a loss. Again, thanks for giving me a light, it helped a lot.

ah, nevermind. I loaded my old save, and it's still glitched.

Could it be that I have too many mods? If it could, then that would be "easy" to solve...

 

Yeah, sorry 'bout the editing thing. I know how spammy it can get, it was not my intention. Maybe my save files were corrupted? I tested arround with a blank save, and the new character was free of the bug (even though I ran into the same issues with this test character before). I am really lost... And I feel I'll encounter the same issues if I create a new character... Well, I'll keep testing, I'll let you know if I find something interesting out.

The news are: I did uninstall as many mods as I could, and my old save finally worked. Thank you for your help, you can close the thread and set it to "solved".
