Bug/Issue Erchius Mining Facility Mission not saving progress

    Playing on the stable version with no game mods running. Character is casual. Erchius Mission restarts from beginning after death, even when returning directly to the mission from the ship (>1min from death to re-entry). Loving the game so far, but I'm not gonna make it through this mission in a single run.

    That is intended not a bug. You will find a checkpoint during the mission where you respawn when you die. If you can't manage it by now i recommend getting the first full armor set and at least an iron broadsword. Also take some bandages with you and some salves. Also do the tech missions. They will make it much easier (especially the dash because you can get away from the monsters really fast).
    The pattern of the enemies is following: come close, fire this acid (or what it is) and chase you. After a few seconds they will again start the acid attack. But this attack is predictable.
