What is the benefit of this mod? As far as I can tell, all it does is remove the rounded corners on windows, and remove the transparency effect. The description doesn't even mention those. I guess it's nice if you don't like those things, but is there any reason to use this otherwise?

If you didn't find any reason to use this mod, cool, but doesn't mean other people share your thoughts. I made this because the vanilla interface is ugly, and decided to share for who think the same as me and wanted to try something different.

 

Actually, I said nothing about my personal opinions about the aesthetics of this UI compared to vanilla. I asked what the mod was supposed to do, since it wasn't very clear to me. Since you made an optimization mod earlier, I was curious if this was something similar, i.e. removing the transparency to reduce processing reqs or something. Thanks for clarifying.

 

Oh, I'm sorry for misunderstanding you, didn't mean to be rude. And this mod is just a reskin, it doesn't anything related to optimization or something.

1) one of the best interface related mods i have ever seen
2) Might you have frackin universe on your radar for compat ?

I'm really in love with this mod.
why?
cause this mod make the game interface HD and after I installed it I felt like I'm playing a new game.
but I found some issues.
like food bar has some glitch and melee weapon is not supported

 

i think that food bar issue is with FU

 

Do you use FU right? Since FU add some new elements like those tooltips, they won't be patched by flat UI. I'm working on a patch for it currently, soon it will be released.

 

yes i use Fu .the Reason its not compatible is FU food Bar is longer

 

I found a workaround for the food bar: just remove foodbar.png, foodbarflashoverlay.png and emptybarfood from /FrackinUniverse/interface and teambar.config from /FrackinUniverse/interface/windowconfig. I hope that I can release the FU patch sunday or monday.
